What it is

A permanently-installed infrared sensor that produces a full, live thermal image of your switchgear — every busbar, joint and connection, as a grid of up to 19,200 temperature points, refreshed every couple of seconds, 24x7.

Not a single contact or spot reading: it watches the whole scene, so a developing hot spot shows up the moment it appears — not weeks later at the next manual survey.

Why it’s needed

Compliance. NFPA 70B (2026, in force since 2023 and OSHA-referenced) permits permanently-installed continuous thermal monitoring; FM Global DS 5-19 recommends it for switchgear.

Safety & uptime. Loose connections, overloads and failing parts overheat before they fail — catching that early prevents damage, outages and fire risk.
