Different manufacturers offer vibration sensors that are analog based: an alert is triggered if motion has been detected — and that is all you learn.

Vibration degrades and destroys sensitive equipment — traditional hard disks being the classic example, where sustained vibration measurably reduces both performance and lifespan.

The SEC-SHOCK continuously monitors vibrations and shocks in rooms, racks and enclosures housing such equipment:

- Detect abnormal vibration from nearby construction, machinery or HVAC.
- Record shocks and impacts on racks and enclosures.
- Trend the measured G-force over time via the base unit and optional Monitoring Software.
