RS485 (Modbus RTU) version
Looking to integrate this sensor with your own gateway or industrial control system? For large accounts customers or OEMs we now do offer a RS-485 version of this sensor. It has the same specs as the normal sensor. However rather than talking to our base unit and then communicate over industrial protocols with 3rd party systems, this version allows for native integration bypassing our base units.
It offers the same features as our regular sensors but with following differences:
- RS485 Modbus RTU output
- individually addressable using dial switch
- 256 addresses available
- 12-24v DC input

Contactless bus bars monitoring
Mounted on the inside of your power panels, the contactless IR spot sensor monitors the temperature of your power control cabinets (such as Automatic Transfer Switches). Instead of doing periodic thermal IR auditing of your power infrastructure, monitor it 24x7 with this sensor.
No PC or Software Required
The InfraSensing sensors connect to the base unit (BASE-5). The base unit is a standalone device that has its own IP address in your network. On its own it will monitor the sensor and trigger alerts via email, SNMP or optional SMS when needed.
There is no software or PC required for the sensors to run.
With our optional Monitoring Software you can centrally monitor sensors with trending and more. This is optional and not required.
How It works.
The DAISY-STARTER connects to the the base unit. Up to 20 DAISY-IRSPOT sensors can be connected to the DAISY-STARTER using simple RJ45 cables. This makes the device an ethernet contactless IR sensor to monitor temperature in enclosures. Alerting via email, SMS, voice call. Integrates with BMS platforms using the Modbus TCP protocol. Or with NMS systems through SNMP GET and SNMP TRAPS.
